Learning coverage

275 selectable skills across 17 learning levels. Every skill in the current catalog now has playable exercises.

This is a growing practice library, not a complete or certified replacement for a math course. “Available” means the named exercise is playable—not that every question format or standard in that subject is covered. Calculus currently means single-variable calculus.

More variety, less repetition

Questions vary their numbers and, where supported, their format: missing values, comparisons, word problems, diagrams, and conceptual choices. Each child rotates through all selected skills. Recent-question memory follows the child across devices and avoids the last 150 questions when a fresh candidate is available. Small banks, such as basic shape names, must eventually repeat.

To add new material for an existing child, open their learning path in the Parent Command Center. Select individual skills or choose a grade range and reset its defaults. Your existing selections are not automatically expanded.

Data, statistics & probability

These skills appear across the grade levels and Algebra II rather than in a separate statistics course. Explore data displays, averages, ratios, percentages, probability, scatter plots and selected statistical reasoning. This is not a complete AP Statistics course.

PSAT & SAT math study paths

Parents can enable PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10 / NMSQT, or SAT math paths under Learning & study in the child settings. These organize selected skills from the practice catalog, with untimed readiness samples and worked explanations. They are not full-length official tests, score predictors, or Reading and Writing preparation. Parents can still exclude individual skills.

Learning depth and readiness

Every assigned skill can be opened in the Skill Workshop for a method explanation, a worked example with step reveals, self-explanation, and fresh unscored practice. Regular questions rotate through independent solving, answer selection, correcting a proposed answer, and paired-task reasoning where the skill supports those formats. Visual and exact-answer tasks retain their original answer requirements.

The prerequisite map covers all 275 catalog skills. Saved readiness checks work through the selected path with multiple responses per skill and, with parent permission, probe earlier foundations. Parents can review and approve a starting-point assignment. Recommendations for new skills require recent, repeated independent evidence across different days; unchecked skills are not assumed mastered. These are instructional suggestions, not validated grade-placement scores.

The concept lab includes 13 interactive models from early number ideas through functions, trigonometry and calculus. It is not a bespoke simulation for every skill. Reasoning difficulty uses independently written practice banks, not official CogAT norms or score predictions.

What the review used

We compared the catalog and generators with grade-level standards and textbook topic outlines. New questions and explanations were written independently; publisher question banks were not copied.

What the new formats assess

Line-graph tasks let children plot two points with touch, mouse, or keyboard. Proof tasks ask them to justify steps and select valid arguments. Construction tasks use compass diagrams and guided construction decisions; they are not a free-form drawing tool. Slope fields, scatter plots, convergence tests, and advanced calculus exercises are now included.

All current catalog skills are playable, but the audit remains ongoing: this is not a claim that every possible exercise format or standard is covered. Automated checks help catch invalid problems and answer conflicts, but do not replace educator review.
