PRACTICE TOGETHER. LEARN AT YOUR LEVEL.
Algebra and Pre-Algebra Practice Games
Algebra connects arithmetic with rules and unknown values. In MathCraft Quest, parents can select pre-algebra, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2 skills independently, or combine them with another level. This makes it possible to revisit fractions while starting equations.

- Pre-algebra: signed numbers, ratios, expressions, and one- and two-step equations.
- Algebra 1: linear equations, graphing, systems, quadratics, and radicals.
- Algebra 2: polynomial operations, rational expressions, complex numbers, logarithms, and conics.
- Select only the individual question types your child is ready to practice.
Worked practice examples
Solve 3x + 7 = 22.
Subtract 7 from both sides: 3x = 15. Divide both sides by 3: x = 5. Check: 3(5) + 7 = 22.
Factor x² + 5x + 6.
Find two numbers whose product is 6 and sum is 5: 2 and 3. The expression is (x + 2)(x + 3).
How to use this practice
Before moving to more complicated equations, check that the learner understands equality and inverse operations. Solving means preserving the same value on both sides. Reading a walkthrough can help identify a missing step; a fresh problem then gives a chance to try the method independently. Available formats include numeric responses, multiple choice, and selected graphing tasks.
A common parent question
Can I choose algebra without assigning every algebra topic? Yes. Expand a level in the parent learning-path editor and deselect individual skills.
