PRACTICE TOGETHER. LEARN AT YOUR LEVEL.

A Mixed-Level Homeschool Math Practice Routine

Start with one shared idea, give each learner a different question, and finish by comparing explanations. Adapt this routine to the instruction your family already uses.

What can you practice?

Worked practice examples

A recipe uses 2 cups of oats for 4 portions. How much for 8 portions?

Eight portions is twice four, so double the oats: 2 + 2 = 4 cups.

How much for 6 portions of that recipe?

Find the unit rate: 2 ÷ 4 = 1/2 cup per portion. Multiply 6 × 1/2 = 3 cups. Both methods assume the recipe scales proportionally.

How to use this practice

Try a short teach–practice–discuss cycle. Use counters, drawings or a recipe before entering the game. After a few questions, ask what changed between the easy and harder example. MathCraft records app activity, not your offline teaching time. A short routine is a suggestion, never a streak requirement.

A common parent question

Is this a complete curriculum? No. Use the practice alongside your lessons, and adjust it to your child’s readiness.

Start with a parent account

Create your free parent account, confirm your email, and choose a private parent PIN. Add children using nicknames, pick their learning paths, then choose Set up on this device and hand it to the child to create their PIN. Returning family members choose their profile and enter their PIN. The optional parent reward store is fully controlled by your family; no payment card is required for this beta.
